Audio / Accessories Pavilion at Auto Expo 2010

Accessories Pavilion was introduced in Auto Exp 2008. It received tremendous response from B2B as well the masses looking out for enhancing the look of their car, bringing technology, flaunting navigation etc. The pavilion witnessed the amazement of the visitors with diversity of products which it had to offer with its surprising rates. The pavilion showcased audio video systems with the latest technology and sound systems, navigation, car fresheners, mobile holders, dashboards, seat covers, car screens, window films, electronic locking systems, immobilizer, lighting accessories, safety & security systems, car stickers, upholstery etc.

With the comfortable vehicle buy outs and availability of car loans ;the customers are left with a sizeable pocket for accessorizing their car; which otherwise would have been consumed in purchase. It is estimated that people generally spend 3-4 percent of the car value on accessories. Though accessories such as music systems, central locking, leather upholstery, paint protection systems, mobile chargers and alloy wheels have become the order of the day, GPS navigation systems, multimedia systems and car PCs are gaining popularity, which would further drive the growth of the car accessories' market.

Garage Equipment Pavilion at Auto Expo 2010

Garage Equipment Pavilion was introduced to address the needs of much required vehicle maintenance of the growing automotive sector. It not only focuses on B2B but also provides a platform for educating masses, drivers, truckers about maintenance of vehicles. Garage equipment pavilion at Auto Expo 2008 had attracted lot of attention from auto enthusiasts visiting the Expo who were checking out the latest service equipments and technologies in the services sector.


Some of the products to be displayed during Auto Expo 2010 includes : 'MPD (Multi Point Lube Dispenser/Fluid Management System), Automatic Nitrogen Inflator, Automatic Tyre Inflator, Automatic Oil Dispenser, Wheel Alignment, Wheel Balancer, AC Gas Charger, Lifts, Orion Oil Monitoring Equipment, Airman Tyre Repair Kit etc.

Volkswagen SUV Touareg Launched in India

German Auto giant, Volkswagen has launched its SUV (sports utility vehicle), titled as Touareg, in India. The Touareg has the ability to conquer loads of obstacles on and off the road. The SUV comes with 4 x 4 All-wheel drive, 45 degrees hill climbing ability, 35 degrees side slope, hill descent and a 500mm wading depth ability. Touareg is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel motor that delivers 255bhp and a massive 550 NM of torque @ 2500 RPM. Touareg is equipped with 6 speed automatic DSG gearbox and accelerates the monstrous Touareg from 0-100 km/h in just 7.8 seconds.

RNS 510 integrated system, Dynaudio sound system, electric sliding/tilting sunroof, keyless system, Bi-Xenon headlamps, electric 12-way adjustable seats with memory presets for driver seat, parking distance control- front and rear with internal display, 'Napa' genuine leather seat upholstery and 230V power socket in rear luggage compartment and many more are the features which Volkswagen has decided to give the buyer of Touareg.

In Delhi, the company has decided to deliver Touareg, under the price tag of Rs. 51,85,000/-

TATA Indigo MANZA

Indigo MANZA is in both petrol and diesel version i.e Safire90 Petrol and Quadrajet90 Diesel engines. It's diesel engine is of 1248 CC and its petrol engine will be with 1368 CC capacity. Both of them is having 5+1 Speed Manual Gearbox. Front suspension is independent and rear suspension is semi independent in both the versions. TATA's MANZA is coming with Power Assisted Rack & Pinion Steering System, which is hydraulic and TILT adjustable. Indigo MANZA is coming with ventilated disc at front and drum disc at rear.
In Delhi, TATA Indigo MANZA SAFIRE comes betweeen price range of 480,000.00 INR to 590,000.00 INR and QUADRAJET Model comes under the price range of 570,000.00 INR to 675,000.00 INR.
